Isolated Seborrheic Keratosis

A single, benign epidermal growth appearing as a waxy, “stuck-on” lesion. It is noncancerous and typically requires treatment only for irritation or cosmetic concerns.

Removal of benign epidermal growths for cosmetic reasons. Benign lesions are not covered by MSP. They are considered cosmetic. Removal is done under local anaesthetic with electrosurgery or cryosurgery.
Elective Pilar cyst / Simple Cyst / Lipoma or Nevi (Nonfacial)
$400 per lesion
These require excision under local anaesthetic and sutures to close the skin. Given they are benign lesions they are not covered under the BC MSP.
Complex Cyst
$500
If a cyst has had prior incision & Drainage procedures in the past or is excessive in size the excision is considered complex as there may be scar tissue or need for added layers for closure.
Neuromodulators
Botox: $10 per unit
Standard Central Forehead: 30 units
Botox is a neuromodulator that temporarily paralyzes muscle movement that leads to wrinkles. Average duration of action is 3 - 4 months. Onset of action requires 7 - 10 days for full effect.
Elective Consultation fee
Request for consultation for elective procedures $100. If the procedure is booked and completed then this will be deducted from overall cost.
